American Enterprise Institute fellow Steven F. Hayward will discuss his epic chronicle of the presidency of America’s 40^th chief executive at Accuracy in Academia’s next author’s night on November 5, 2009. The free event will feature a complimentary pizza and salad buffet @ Armand’s on Capitol Hill (226 Massachusetts Ave., NE) from 6-8 PM.

“American presidents of both parties, all too often, need to be appreciated at a distance,” AIA executive director Mal Kline wrote in his review of Hayward’s The Age of Reagan: The Conservative Counterrevolution 1980-1989. “Of the 20th Century chief executives, perhaps only Ronald Reagan holds up well under scrutiny.”
