C-SPAN 2 will broadcast the last Accuracy in Academia author’s night which featured M. Stanton Evans, author of the recently published Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy and His Fight Against America’s Enemies.

The former editor of The Indianapolis News, Evans got to cover some of the original McCarthy controversies in the 1950s when he was the managing editor of Human Events, the national conservative weekly newspaper. The AIA event occurred on November 8, two days after the

The lecture drew a substantial crowd of students, interns, Capitol Hill staffers, executive branch officials and journalists. In both the acknowledgements of the book and in the text itself, Evans gives honorable mention to Reed Irvine, founder of Accuracy in Academia.
