Feminism’s All Or Nothing

With women making up more than half of the student body in American colleges and universities, feminists want—the other half. “Women can earn 30 percent more in STEM fields, Mimi Lufkin of the National Alliance for Partnership in Equity, pointed out in a forum on Capitol Hill on April 17, 2013. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math.

“In cosmetology and child care, women make up 70 percent of the employees,” Fatima Goss Graves of the National Women’s Law Center noted in the symposium sponsored by the National Coalition for Women & Girls in Education.
