Offering an alternative to the U. S. News & World Report college rankings, economist Richard Vedder will be the featured speaker at Accuracy in Academia’s April 7, 2011 author’s night dinner from 6-8 PM at the Van Andel Center at the Heritage Foundation. The event is free for Capitol Hill and Washington, D. C. area interns.

During the free dinner, Vedder, an economist at Ohio University, will discuss the findings of his group, the Center for College Affordability and Productivity. Vedder is the author of Going Broke By Degree: Why college costs too much.

To rsvp, e-mail mal.kline@academia.org or Elizabeth.jenkins@aim.org.

Although the event is free, we need a head count for planning purposes.
