What has happened to New Hampshire, the Granite State, proud supporter of the American revolutionary spirit over two hundred years ago?
Why are school children forced to “bow to the altar of multiculturalism” as they did at the Amherst Middle School when kids had to celebrate something called “Open Tent Day” by parading around the school dressed as Saudi Arabians, according to pcblogspot.com.?
The local newspaper, the Milford Cabinet, reported that this exercise was designed to “encourage participants to reach out and learn from people around the world, and to promote curiosity and cultural understanding.”
The paper noted that students had to choose a traditional Arabic name for their name badge, and fill out an “actual Saudi customs form, which warned in bold letters, ‘Death for Drug Trafficking,’ at the top.”
While the seventh grade boys, resplendent in their “long plaid kilts, white shirts and turbans,” presided over the food tables and Arabic dancing, the girls were relegated to hosting the “hijab and veil stations” and teaching each other how to “wear the required head covering and veils.”
Newspaper coverage of this event noted that students found the Arabic murals, slide shows, coloring books and listening stations to be—“captivating.”
