As we have documented here a Accuracy in Academia, veterans of Democratic presidential administrations regularly best their Republican counterparts when there are job openings in academia. We have also shown that Obama Administration insiders are even beating this trend by leaving the administration for the Ivory Tower while the president is still in office.

When we last made this tabulation, we found that 23 Obama Administration veterans have gone back to school. Now that number is up by at least one—Cecilia E. Rouse, formerly of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors (2010-2011) is now at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton.
