Safe Schools Czar Reading List Unveiled

Accuracy in Academia has long reported on the types of smut ^[1] promoted in America’s public schools. Now, according to Scott Baker of Breitbart-TV.com and ‘The B-Cast,’ a “team of independent researchers” has prepared a report on the Gay Straight and Lesbian Education Network ^[2] (GLSEN) reading list ^[3] for students K-12. (The researchers focus on 11 of the books GLSEN suggested for 7th through 12th graders ^[4]).

I’m not sure what parents would want their kids reading these books:

We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships…affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games…One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.

Kevin Jennings ^[6], Assistant Deputy Secretary at the Office of Safe & Drug Free Schools ^[7] (a.k.a. school safety czar), founded GLSEN and is its former Executive Director, according to the GLSEN website ^[8].
