Visualize Core Values

Public school teachers should realize one thing when they feel compelled to share their political views with students: Those pupils might be the children of syndicated columnists.

Beloved D. C. scribe (The Washington Examiner) and broadcaster (WTOP) Chris Core recently gave over his column to his daughter Sarah’s reflections on school. “I used to be so intimidated by my teachers that when asked, I would answer as I thought the teacher would, even though I didn’t really think that way,” Sarah Core wrote. “I am a Republican, and most of my teachers are not.”

“It has taken me a while to work up the courage to say what I really think and not worry about the consequences.”
