A Clayton State University professor, Andrea Allen, initially offered extra credit for students who attended an on-campus event for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and Democratic Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, but after public pressure, she had to extend it to Republican events, too.
Clayton State University is located south of Atlanta, and thus it would be on the campaign trail for candidates of either political party due to its proximity to the state capital.
