Some children are being trained from a very young age to accept LGBT ideology. One of the groups responsible for perpetuating this indoctrination is the left-wing National Education Association (NEA).
Alongside the “Welcoming Schools Program” of the pro-LGBT Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the NEA sponsored the “fourth annual Jazz and Friends National Day of School and Community Readings,” which is dedicated to reading children the pro-transgender children’s book I Am Jazz by Jessica Herthel and Jazz Jennings. Jennings, a biological male who identifies as a female, is widely known from the cable television show “I Am Jazz.”
“This year, participants will have the option of reading from several books about transgender and gender-expansive youth of color, including Julián Is a Mermaid by Jessica Love and They She He Me: Free to Be! by Maya and Matthew Smith Gonzalez,” a press release explained.

A video posted by the NEA shows the Human Rights Campaign’s Sarah McBride reading the book to a group of kindergarteners at Ashlawn Elementary School in Arlington, Virginia.
“I have a girl brain, but a boy body. This is called transgender. I was born this way,” McBride read to the group of impressionable youngsters, some of whom indicated that they had already been exposed to the book previously.
“So, I’m like Jazz,” McBride told the children after finishing the book. “When I was born, the doctors and my parents, they all thought that I was a boy.”
When a child questions “why” McBride responded: “Why? Well, because society, people around them told them that was the case. But it took me getting…a little bit older to be able to say that in my heart and in my mind I knew I was really a girl. And I was very lucky like Jazz to have parents who love me and say that I can be whoever I want to be. So I was finally able to be myself.”
As the above video documents, NEA President Lily Eskelsen García also participated in the event at Ashlawn Elementary. The Washington Post quoted Eskelsen in an article:
We have seen a complete, literal rollback of the protections for students, especially transgender students,” said García, who also read to students. “The Trump administration has been openly hostile, whether or not you’re a transgender soldier or a transgender little boy or little girl. It is more important than ever before that we speak out.
