Oh No

Childcare workers in Australia are being instructed not to use the word “no” and “don’t” due to fears that they will stunt a child’s development.

Also the words “good boy” and “good girl” are frowned upon since they are seen as sexist.

Daycare center owner Lorraine Kazzi told the Sunday Telegraph that instead of saying “Don’t run here” workers now tell the children that “You should run outside”.

Take heart though one childcare worker was reported to have told the paper that the staff are saying “no” and were secretly refusing to follow the rules.

Boy I wish I had known about this sooner. Now I feel guilty for stunting my children’s development and scarring them forever with my sexist compliments when they did well on something.

Will they ever forgive me?
