My name is Sarah and I have gone to the Community College of Baltimore County in Maryland for a few years now. During this time I have taken many different types of classes to fulfill requirements, most of them in which I came up against leftist propaganda.
In my Sociology class I was told that the President was stupid for reacting to September 11th, and that we should deal with terrorists by educating them. Psychology class taught me that there more diet cokes available at grocery stores in wealthy neighborhoods, therefore we caused less wealthy people to eat bad. Intelligent, huh?
Lastly and most infuriating is my Women’s Studies class. The book we were given to read is called “Women’s Voices, Feminist Visions”, which is a terribly liberal book. Last week bell hooks [pictured], in one of her radical writings in the
book stated that “feminists”, in her definition could not be conservative or pro-life. She wants equality, but my beliefs are not worthy of equality in her eyes. I was outraged. I told the whole class and the teacher that I was tired of being fed a leftist agenda. Everyone seemed shocked.
Then all of a sudden some girl told me she respected me because I spoke my mind. She said other people that had my beliefs were scared to say anything. Maybe that is true, I don’t know. I think a lot of people are just stupid and shallow and just don’t care. I don’t know what to do. I feel helpless. It seems like I can never get a real education. Right now all I am being taught is lies, lies, lies. Thanks for listening, whoever you are.
