Remember this? Some students e-mailed the entire student body at Pitzer College and said that white women should not wear hoop earrings since it’s cultural appropriation.
Now, the same students claim that they are being harassed for their opinions because it was reported on by the conservative student newspaper, the Claremont Independent. Pitzer’s president even stepped into the fray and criticized the conservative newspaper for covering the incident, which is ironic since… the paper was reporting the news.
