Conservative Commentator Denied Speech Opportunity at DePaul University over Views

Steve Crowder, a popular conservative commentator on YouTube, was going to speak at DePaul University, per a pending application by the Young Americans for Liberty chapter at DePaul. But, administrators nixed that application because his speech doesn’t align “with DePaul’s educational mission.” Their criteria appeared to be due to the administration’s research on his videos:

“The Speaker Review Board denied this speaker request due to their research on Mr. Crowder and came to the conclusion that he creates videos to purposely to rouse and provoke people by making fun of the opposing side.”
