Apparently, faculty members at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point may not comprehend that budget cuts are inevitable at some universities. Faculty members announced they are seeking the ouster of the university’s chancellor and provost because they are proposing budget cuts, which include cutting majors and programs. But, the faculty members must realize that if revenue is not coming in, budget cuts are necessary.
