Former Wiley College professor David Louis Whitehead sued Netflix Inc., Marvel Entertainment, Viacom, and Walt Disney Inc. for allegedly stealing his movie script, which he claims became the blockbuster “Black Panther” movie. Whitehead demands a jury trial, in addition to $10 billion and an additional $1 milliion in compensatory damages. Whitehead claimed that his script for “Black Batman” is too similar to “Black Panther” for it to be a coincidence.
