Kent State University, under threat from a lawsuit from a conservative student group, has scrapped its campus security fee policy without elaborating future procedures. The lawsuit was in response to the university’s demand that the conservative group, Liberty Hangout, pay $1,800 in security fees for an event on gun control and gun rights.
