Liberals Howl as MSNBC Ousts Joy Reid

Flaming liberal MSNBC host Joy Reid has been ousted at the network as it seeks to find its way during a second Trump administration.
Reid, who has been the most outspoken of the MSNBC anchors including Rachel Maddow has managed to survive at the liberal cable news network despite making several wildly delusional claims about President Trump and the Republicans over the past few years.
In commenting about the Kamala Harris campaign Reid said that it was a “historic flawlessly run campaign” despite many obvious missteps by Harris that raised doubts among not just the voters but fellow Democrats.
One of her most unhinged comments came when she compared Joe Biden’s recovery from COVID-19 as a “sign of strength” similar to President Trump’s escaping an assassination attempt in July 2024.
“These two men are both elderly. Donald Trump is an elderly man who, for whatever reason, was given nine seconds to take an iconic photo-op during an active shooter situation. Weird situation, we’ll figure that out one day,” Reid said while covering the Republican National Convention.
“This current President of the United States is 81 years old and has COVID, should he be fine in a couple of days, doesn’t that convey exactly the same thing? That he’s strong enough – older than Trump – to have gotten something that used to really be fatal to people his age. So, if he does fine out of it and comes back and is able to do rallies, isn’t that exactly the same?” Reid said
Liberals are upset at the network for making the change with former MSNBC anchor stating that they don’t have a Joy Reid problem but a Joe Scarborough-Mike Brzezinski problem alluding to the trip the couple and morning anchors made to Mar-a-Lago to visit Trump after the election.
Taking over Reid’s 7 p.m. timeslot will be a show hosted by Symone Sanders-Townsend, a former spokesperson to Vice President Kamala Harris, Alicia Menendez, the daughter of disgraced Democrat Senator Bob Menendez and former RNC Chairman Michael Steele, who has fashioned a new career of bashing Republicans on the network after he was dumped as chairman according to a source familiar with the plans.
Without Reid the tone will be a little less harsh towards Trump signaling the continued changes in the media landscape since his victory in November.
