Professor Clarified Remark that he ‘wouldn’t mind’ seeing President Trump dead

A Northeastern professor clarified a remark at a recent forum, which he suggested that he would not mind seeing President Donald Trump “dead” at some point of the presidency. Barry Bluestone, a political science professor, said the following:

“This president that we have is really out of control…sometimes I want to just see him impeached…Other times, quite honestly—I hope there are no FBI agents here—I wouldn’t mind seeing him dead. But, actually I don’t wa…”

A colleague interjected and said, “Of natural causes,” to which Bluestone agreed. Bluestone did issue a statement to clarify his remarks and said he never calls for direct acts of violence against anyone.

    Now two wrongs many NOT make one right but I am somewhat bemused by the hysteria over this statement- esp coming from conservatives who indicated that on more than one occasion they would NOT be sorry to see Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama die in office and NOT from natural causes as FDR!
