A Northeastern professor clarified a remark at a recent forum, which he suggested that he would not mind seeing President Donald Trump “dead” at some point of the presidency. Barry Bluestone, a political science professor, said the following:
“This president that we have is really out of control…sometimes I want to just see him impeached…Other times, quite honestly—I hope there are no FBI agents here—I wouldn’t mind seeing him dead. But, actually I don’t wa…”
A colleague interjected and said, “Of natural causes,” to which Bluestone agreed. Bluestone did issue a statement to clarify his remarks and said he never calls for direct acts of violence against anyone.
