A Snapchat image and caption appeared on the social media feeds of students at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, which pushed for electing student government candidates who are not lesbians or Hmong (a southeast Asian ethnic group which a large portion have been relocated to the United States after the Vietnam War). Students were in an outcry over the image, and then some demanded that the university seek to hire a faculty member who is not only disabled, but queer and a member of the Hmong ethnicity.
