UCONN Pres Admits: DACA Support Tied to $

Follow the money is a good guide to education reporting too. “If DACA students are deported, forced to withdraw or leave the university, UConn will lose the tuition revenue that these students contribute,” UConn President Susan Herbst wrote in an affidavit that the Hartford Courant reported on. “This is a significant impact on the university.”

Did the Federal government pay the tuition or did the students take out loans …or did they pay out-of-pocket? Who would be getting the money back if the student went home?
