Students at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill are planning to rally to show solidarity with a fellow student, who was arrested for vandalizing the Confederate statue known as “Silent Sam” that resides on-campus. Maya Little was arrested for throwing paint on the statue, which represents the students who fought as Confederate soldiers in the American Civil War.
