This college workshop on alternatives to calling the police to respond to incidents begs the following question: Who else will be armed in the city of Chicago (and in the state of Illinois) who can defend civilians from danger, if they do not have legal, licensed firearms to defend themselves?
Granted, Chicago police officers are not very well-liked after a cover-up of a shooting of a black civilian that originated from the mayor’s office.
