University of Texas Relocates Confederate Statue

, Spencer Irvine, 1 Comment

The injunction to keep the statue of Jefferson Davis in a prominent part of campus was denied, so the statue will be relocated to another part of the college campus.

Shame on the University. Whenever the faculty of a university becomes part of the media status quo, then there is nothing to worry about. Now we know where you stand…or rather, don’t stand…but shame is a word you should carry about with you. Freedom of speech! Exchange of ideas! Nonsense. Your God is political conformity and your face should be lowered in that shame. I’ve seen this on too many universities: let an art historian proudly proclaim that he is a Marxist. Applause. Let another say that Jefferson and Lee and Jackson, and Kirby Smith are worthy of admiration: then collapse into your emptiness of shame.
But it really doesn’t matter. They sold out, literally, long ago.
