Heterodox Academy, an effort started by two professors to help instill a culture of viewpoint diversity on college campuses, said that 1,500 professors agreed to allow for this kind of free debate on their college campuses. Viewpoint diversity is ideological diversity, where a person can reasonably assume that their view can be fairly discussed in a classroom environment.
