The University of Oregon is facing an internal division over a student body’s vote to divest from any company that has any relationship with Israel, including hummus maker Sabra.
The school administration zeroed out (i.e. axed or slashed completely) the printing budget of the student-run newspaper, The Blue and Gray Press although the cutback would not affect the newspaper’s online publications, then UMW relented.
University of Kentucky has an Office of LGBTQ* Resources, which has awarded scholarships and research grants of at least $19,000, and the three research grants are supposed to conduct LGBT-centered research.
Protesters disrupted a panel discussion at UCLA on indigenous peoples’ history, with panelists representing Armenians, Kurds and Jews. Pro-Palestinian activists denied involvement, but the protesters were allegedly chanting pro-Palestinian rhetoric during the event.

Evergreen State College, on the heels of announcing it will slash $5.9 million from its budget entering this year, will cut 24 faculty positions, 19 unfilled staff positions and has warned 20 staff members that their jobs are at risk, too.
