Eckerd College, a small private college located in St. Petersburg, Florida, has held a graduation ceremony for students’ pets since 2013. The college has “graduated” at least 200 animals and this year, “graduated” 50 pet animals.
The pets walk across the stage with a cap and gown and the owners receive certificates.
The college pointed out that they have had pets on their campus since the 1970s.
