We reported on this previously, when the University of Georgia became embroiled in controversy when one of its teaching assistants, Irami Osei-Frimpong told students that “some white people may have to die for black communities to be made whole in this struggle to advance to freedom.” Now, Osei-Frimpong has at least one defender, which is the university chapter of the United Campus Workers of Georgia.
