St. Catherine University, a private Catholic university in Minnesota, planned on holding a leadership conference this winter. However, the conference was canceled because the speakers that the university had lined up did not apparently meet a type of internal litmus test. The university said that the invited speakers did not “reflect the diverse St. Kate’s community of today nor the world of tomorrow we are committed to creating.”
