Stanford University, an elite private university in northern California, recently held an open house to display its new all-gender locker room. To cater to “non-binary” and transgender students and create a more “inclusive environment,” the new facility has private bathroom stalls, private lockers, private showers with changing rooms, and a dry changing room. The facility was converted from previously existing men and women’s restrooms and is located in the university’s recreation center.
