A conservative commentator on YouTube and CRTV, Steven Crowder, upset Texas Christian University administrators over his most recent “Change My Mind” tour on whether “rape culture” exists. Crowder filmed it on a public sidewalk in front of the university, but administrators were unhappy it was done near to their campus. They do, however, acknowledge his First Amendment rights as he conducted the Question and Answer video-recorded session on public property.
The university released a public statement on Twitter, which reads as follows:
Today, Steven Crowder chose to challenge our students on a public sidewalk in front of the university. While the Constitution gives him the right to express his views, the sentiments he expressed do not align with TCU’s values.
