Cornell Seeks Diversity While Ignoring Conservatives

Cornell, which might have one conservative on its faculty, is launching a full-scale “diversity” push while ignoring conservatives. “A Cornell University task force that was established in October has issued a list of recommendations designed to attract and retain ‘female and underrepresented’ faculty,” Celine Ryan reports on the Campus Reform blog maintained by the Leadership Institute. “Cornell announced last week that ‘The Provost’s Task Force to Enhance Faculty Diversity has issued its report recommending steps that could help Cornell keep its competitive edge in attracting and retaining outstanding female and underrepresented minority faculty members.'”

“The task force was established last October by Provost Michael Kotlikoff, and was tasked with finding ways to ‘enhance and accelerate the diversification of the Cornell faculty.'”
