Gonzaga Tries to Raise Funds for Illegal Immigrant Students

After an apparent failure in fundraising, Gonzaga University is trying to crowdfund (i.e. raise funds through asking the publiic) for scholarships for illegal immigrant students. The university proposed a $2.50 tuition hike that students would pay, unless students opted out. But now, it looks like the university couldn’t raise enough money, so it is looking for private donations to do so.
