A guest lecturer visited the University of North Georgia and was corrected several times by a tenured Spanish professor. That visiting lecturer was so offended, after the tenured professor spoke to him one-on-one afterwards, he lodged a complaint with the school. Now the Spanish professor, Victoria McCard, is suspended and could be fired. The details aren’t clear, but it seems to be an intriguing faculty-versus-administration situation.
