Which is ironic because Harvard Law, as we’ve reported, is all in for the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. “An updated study by a Harvard University researcher again finds very mixed educational attainment for DACA recipients,” Preston Hunnekens of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) writes. “Among the sampled population of DACA recipients, about 41 percent are enrolled in or have completed a college degree program and a nearly equal share, about 38 percent, have not advanced beyond high school.”
The study, “(Un)Authorized Transitions: Illegality, DACA, and the Life Course,” was published in the journal Research and Human Development in August.
