Two University of Wisconsin employees sued the state for declining to cover gender transition surgery costs and a judge ruled in favor of the employees and against the state. Two employees sued as plaintiffs and will most likely be reimbursed for ’emotional’ damages and to reimburse the cost of surgery.
This likely means that state taxpayers will be footing the bill for gender transition surgeries for state employees.
