Northern Illinois Students Unhappy with Anti-Trump Cartoon that Reference Bathroom Bill Debate

, Spencer Irvine, 2 Comments

Apparently, cartoons and jokes are not in style in this hyper-sensitive, politicized world. A cartoon that mocked President Trump’s hand size aired in a student newspaper at Northern Illinois University, only to see LGBT activists get riled up since it allegedly mocked transgender bathroom advocates:

The cartoon in question, which ran in the March 9 edition of The Northern Star, was titled “What would make Trump happy…” and showed three bathroom doors: one male, one female, and one for people with “tiny hands.”

The bathroom for people with tiny hands has a lock on it, the joke presumably being that Trump would prefer to have a private facility where he could wash his “tiny hands” without fear of ridicule.

“Trump probably has his own ideal of the ideal public bathroom,” an accompanying caption speculates.

Campus “newspapers” like The Northern Star are the training ground for the current host of unbiased, inquisitive, articulate journalists staffing today’s mainstream media to whom Americans turn to for insightful perspectives. Not.
