Jeh Johnson, who served under Barack Obama as the cabinet secretary for the Department of Homeland Security (known by the acronym “DHS”), recently withdrew from an invitation to be the commencement speaker at the University of Southern California (USC) law school. The reason behind the withdrawal was due to protests and outcry by students over Johnson’s border detention policy while serving as DHS secretary.
