University of Colorado-Boulder Library Uses ‘Ethical’ Search Terms to Avoid Use of ‘Illegal Aliens’

University of Colorado-Boulder’s library does not like the term ‘illegal alien’ and is going out of its way to make sure it doesn’t become a search term. Now, the university library is using subject headings to avoid the use of “illegal aliens” in catalog searches because it is “ethical.”
