Five colleges in Massachusetts, known as the Five College Consortium, offer a joint certification in “reproductive justice” for its students. The consortium consists of Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Hampshire College.
The certificate is officially known as the “Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice” certificate.
The certification offers classes such as “Feminist Health Politics,” “Women’s Medical Issues” and “The Ethics of Having Children.”
