Michigan Professor: Ariana Grande’s Manchester Benefit Concert a Better Way to Deal with Terrorism

, Accuracy in Academia, 1 Comment

Michigan professor Juan Cole penned a piece in a left-wing publication, The Nation, and said that pop musician Ariana Grande’s benefit concert in Manchester, England, was a good counterterrorism measure. Cole compared the benefit concert to U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis’s counterterrorism strategy.

How so? Reaching out in peace is more effective, argued Cole, than destroying ISIS by killing its adherents.

A benefit concert is a good antiterrorism strategy? Terrorists must be terrified of the implementation.
