Statue Resembling Confederate General Robert E. Lee at Duke University Vandalized

In a chapel at Duke University, there is a statue resembling Confederate general Robert E. Lee. It was vandalized and it prompted a statement from the university, condemning the vandalism.

After the violent protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, there has been outrage on social media and now, in public places where Confederate statues are located.

    And WHAT pray tell was a statue of Robert E.Lee (a secular leader) DOING in a place meant to be one of worship???
