University of Maryland Students Unhappy about Administration’s Rejection of Hate Symbol Ban

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution allows for the freedom of speech, including hate symbols and hate speech. This was put to the test at the University of Maryland, where college students were upset that the university would not sign off on a ban of hate symbols.
